With eight strategically located asphalt plants, Thompson-Arthur produces over one-million tons of quality asphalt every year. All of our plants feature a Quality Control Testing Lab, each fully equipped with the skilled staff and latest equipment to ensure we meet or exceed the stringent specifications of the NCDOT, FAA, and related governing requirements.

For the last 30 years, our Candor Sand plant has received numerous awards from the North Carolina Department of Labor for having zero lost time accidents or injuries. And all of our asphalt plants have received the coveted NAPA Diamond Achievement Commendation for Excellence in Hot-Mix Asphalt Plant/Site Operations.
